Kansas City’s Favorite Off-Leash Dog Parks

Bar K Dog Bar

This two acre park for dogs is built for year-round enjoyment and equipped with fans, heaters, water and shelter. Bar K is a restaurant, bar, coffeehouse, and dog park all in one! Heritage Park

Located in Lenexa, this dogs-only pool offers private and group lessons for dock diving! With Certified Dock Diving Coaches, the Lenexa Dog Pool is a fun – and safe! – way for your dog to get a good workout and stay cool. The pool also offers pool rental reservations and pet physical therapy.


Dogwood Park

Do you live out closer to Lee’s Summit? There’s a dog park for you too! With five acres of off-leash fun, the Dogwood Park in Lee’s Summit offers dog agility equipment, as well as a drinking fountain, accessible parking, and a short trail for the humans.


Leawoof Park

Conveniently located in Leawood east of City Park at 106th and Lee Boulevard, the Leawoof Park is a great wide open space to take your dog for a playdate! With a drinking fountain and agility equipment, Leawoof is a great spot for a game of fetch while you work on your summer tan! A few shaded benches located around the park provide a resting spot for those less enthused about the sun.
