JACQUES

  1. Age
    6 years old
  2. Breed & Weight
    I’m a handsome 115lb American Bulldog
  3. Sensitivities or medical conditions + solutions?
For a giant dog, I’m in pretty good shape, but I’ve had arthritis in my knees since age 1. I started taking Myristin Hip & Joint Supplements, and ever since then I’m able to run, jump and play like I used to!
  4. What’s a typical breakfast & dinner?
My mom gives me a healthy rotation of kibble, wet, and raw food. Sometimes I get Zignature kibble, topped with tasty Weruva Chicken. Lately, I’ve been getting Answers Raw Pork with Cow Kefir & Fish Stock. If I’m lucky, I eat my kitty brother’s leftovers after my mom leaves for work.
  5. Favorite treats/chews?
Primal raw beef marrow bones are my favorite. I also like Bark n Big shin bones and Jones L-Bones. But nothing gets me excited more than chewing on a good old-fashioned STICK!
  6. Grooming practices?
I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to grooming. I get brushed with the Groom Ninja since I shed so badly, and when I get stinky my mom sprays me with K9 Granola’s Body Mist.
  7. Best thing about being a Barkery Dog?
All of the toys and yummy treats & food!

NOODLES

Barkery Team Member – Gabby

    I am a pointer/pittie mix. I am like a cute, muscular 45lbs.
  3. Sensitivities or medical conditions + solutions?
I can’t have any corn chips, even though I smell like one. If I do, my Frito toes smell extra chippy – so I’m on a very strict raw diet.
  4. What’s a typical breakfast & dinner?
I get raw meat topped with kale and blueberries, goat milk, bone broth, and sometimes I even get goat cheese. I am a brat.
  5. Favorite treats/chews?
I love Vital Essentials Duck Heads & pig hearts. Beef lungs are also pretty tasty. I also enjoy Tuckers & Primal frozen bones. Like I said, I love food. I’ll do anything and nothing at all for a treat J
  6. Grooming practices?
My parents like washing me together with the Skout’s Honor Honeysuckle 2 in 1.
  7. Best thing about being a Barkery Dog?
The best part is that I am getting fed and treated better than my humans probably do. Also I don’t get in trouble for counter surfing, instead I am rewarded with treats

DIAMOND

Barkery Team Member – Alejandro

  1. Age
    2 years old
  2. Breed & Weight
    Hippo/Toad – 60lbs
  3. Sensitivities or medical conditions + solutions?
Can’t do grains and kibble is hard on my body! I get yeasty red paws, black spots on my thighs, and itchy ears! What has helped a lot is eating an all raw diet. We’re working on figuring out if pork makes me itchy too though.
  4. What’s a typical breakfast & dinner?
A typical meal for me is a whole pound of meat (mostly I eat Steve’s Real Food Turducken Patties) with .75mL of CBD and a splash of Goat Milk or Bone Broth, my dad likes to rotate. Sometimes I get less meat but my dad will put in a good amount of TRIPE! My favorite.
  5. Favorite treats/chews?
Bones! Frozen tracheas! Anything anyone wants to give me!
  6. Grooming practices?
I like to have a bath and a mani/pedi around once a month, and I like it when my dad brushes me because it’s scratchy and it feels good.
  7. Best thing about being a Barkery Dog?
I love coming into work with my dad! Everyone gives me so much love and attention and treats!

PEPPER LYNN

Barkery Team Member – TJ

  1. Age
4 years old as of June 1st, 2019!
  2. Breed & Weight
Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix. I try to keep a healthy weight between 32-35lbs.
  3. Sensitivities or medical conditions + solutions?
After doing the Barkery’s Wellness Assessment Kit, we discovered I’m allergic to grains, potatoes, chicken and lamb. When I eat any of those, I start itching and getting hot spots (gross). My mom keeps those foods out of my diet but sometimes people sneak me junk food and I have to up my probiotics – which means I get more goat’s milk!
  4. What’s a typical breakfast & dinner?
Of course my meals are all raw food! Sometimes it’s Steves, Answers or Primal. My mom keeps me on my toes with a healthy rotation. Mix in some Answers Fermented Cow Kefir, CBD and every once in a while I get some fermented fruits and veggies.
  5. Favorite treats/chews?
Bark n Big SHIN BONES!! Even after all the outside is chewed off, I keep going. They’re just that amazing.
  6. Grooming practices?
Anything my Uncle Wade thinks is best! Even when I come in looking like a hot mess (thanks Mom) he just knows how to make me look like my most beautiful self.
  7. Best thing about being a Barkery Dog?
All the yummy treats my mom brings home. Also, getting to meet new friends when I come to visit the Barkery. But the best part is seeing all my Barkery aunts and uncles! We’re like one big family.
