You and your dog can join your friends at the Brookside Barkery and walk in the 32nd Annual Brookside St. Patrick’s Day Warm Up Parade!
Sign up and you’ll receive a packet of goodies, a coupon for a FREE self-service bath and your dog will receive a Brookside Barkery bandana to wear on the day of the event.
Registration is only $10 and all proceeds benefit local rescue groups.
Day of Event:
Everyone wanting to be a part of the Brookside Barkery & Bath ‘Paw’rade float should be at the staging area no later than 1pm. There will be a limited number of spots available on the float itself for dogs and owners that might have a difficult time completing the parade route. Dogs should wear their Brookside Barkery bandannas.
Safety First:
We want everyone to have fun while being safe. All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Please keep your dog under control and be aware that this is a loud, busy event and may not be suitable for all dogs. No aggressive dogs or dogs in season are allowed to participate. Please, no retractable leashes, and one dog per person!
The Route:
Begins at 65th and Wornall, heads north to 63rd, continues East on 63rd to Main, South to Meyer and heads West to end on Brookside Boulevard.
Parking Tip:
Parking is scarce in Brookside, although there are parking lots in and around central Brookside on 63rd Street. Be prepared to park street side and walk to the parade route.
